I have to say, it makes me sad when people's friends and family talk them out of wedding-related things due to perceived "non-fanciness" or really, any other reason. If there's ever a time to wear something you feel great in (and not what your mom thinks looks good you you) it's at your wedding! I'm sure your second dress was gorgeous though! aww. My mom and sister thought it wasn't "fancy" enough, and I still have a little dress regret that I returned it (and instead bought a beautiful but too expensive $500 sample dress - with alterations to match the price). Hope someone else will wear this beautiful, comfortable, simple dress to their wedding! that was my “first” wedding dress, which I got on sale for $175.
