Stunning, no? Natalie did the flowers for Anita & Wayne’s wedding, which were equally amazing, and she loves doing weddings and is willing to work with budgets of all sizes. Bay Area couples, if you’re still looking for a florist, get in touch with her! You will not be disappointed.

Melody & her mom arranged the centerpieces, and sent them home with the guests at the end of the night, so I’ve had this pretty little thing (on the right) sitting on my bathroom counter for the last few days. It makes me smile every time I see it. Their pro-photographer was Kristen Marie from Seattle, and she was a total doll (we got to chat about what it’s like to be unmarried while working in the wedding industry – personally, I kind of weirdly love it!) and I can’t wait to see the photos!

ps. for those of you who pay attention to these things on Twitter, you realize that I’m missing the wedding I did on August 6th – I didn’t get a *single photo* while I was there, so am waiting until the pro ones come back before I blog about it.

Wow, the week flies by when you’re working like a madwoman having fun. Things I loved in life this week include:

• amazing 75+ degree weather every day
• the explosion of roses my mom’s garden (above)
• work! lots of it, and for the most part really fun stuff.
• asparagus is in season, and I’ve been eating it almost every day

My weekend plans include going to Oakland’s Art Murmur for the first time in a long time tonight (for the first two years I went almost every month), attending a 4th birthday party in a park, and celebrating Mother’s Day with my parents and some of their friends. Yay for summer weather, art, birthdays, and friends and family to enjoy them with. Hope you all have lovely weekends ahead of you!
