Set packages We don't have them! Since every event is unique, and requires a different amount and type of work, we don't think it makes much sense to force you to buy packages that more often than not will include services you don't actually need, so every event is priced individually. That said, we offer a few general levels of services, and pricing guidelines are below.

Consulting Do you just want someone to talk out options with? Have an idea but no idea how to execute it? Need an idea for how to incorporate two seemingly incompatible wishes? This is what consulting is for. $85/hr, with a one hour minimum. Consulting can take place over the phone or, if you're in the Bay Area, at a coffee shop, bar, or at the Lowe House office.

Day of Coordination Our basic Day Of Coordination (which is similar to what many companies call "month of coordination")  service includes an initial meeting, access to our recommended vendor list, assistance with development of a detailed day-of-timeline, a check in meeting two-four weeks prior to the event that's often used as a site visit, email support, up to two hours of rehearsal coordination the day prior to the event, vendor confirmations in the two weeks prior to the event, and on-site coordination (with an assistant if needed) for the entire Wedding/Event Day (with no maximum hours, so there's never a risk of expensive overtime charges) Day Of Coordination prices ranges from $1800-$2500*.

Day of Coordination PLUS DOC+ is for people looking for something in between standard Day of Coordination and Full Planning. It involves everything included in the standard DOC package, plus creation of a planning timeline, budget advice, scheduled monthly meetings or phone calls, additional email and phone support, a site visit prior to the rehearsal, access to our recommended vendor list, review of all vendor contracts, and handling of all vendor confirmations prior to the wedding. DOC+ prices range from $3000-$5000 (exact pricing is based on length of contract time, as well as size and complexity of the event.)

Full Event Planning Full planning can start up to 18 months before the wedding and includes all DOC+ services. The services provided with full planning tend to vary greatly between clients, but can include: budget development, vendor research, vendor management, venue research, contract negotiation, design and execution of decor elements, as well as additional meetings, site visits, and attendance at vendor meetings or interviews. Depending on the size and complexity of your event, as well as the level of involvement you'd like from us, full planning prices range from $5000-$9000.*

*Small Weddings throwing an event with less than 40 people? We love small weddings, and offer a few reduced-price (starting at $900) spots each year for both planning and coordinating small weddings or other parties.

DOC Prep designed for clients whose budgets don't allow for a professional Day of Coordinator, or who for other reasons are having a non-professional friend or family member coordinate. Taking place 2-6 weeks before your wedding, and priced at $350, it includes:
  • a two hour meeting with the couple, and if possible, the person who will be running the show on the wedding day,
  • review of all of your existing wedding documents & vendor contracts
  • development of a detailed day of wedding documents as needed, including: day or weekend of timeline, floorplans, table setting plans, pack-in/pack-out lists
  • specific focus on pointing out places where you'll need extra help or may have overlooked something
  • answers to all of your last minute wedding questions
  • Follow up support around the documents we create if needed, as well as phone support with your non-pro coordinator if they're unable to attend the meeting.

Location Lowe House Events is based in Oakland, but serves the entire Great State of California, although our focus is on the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Lodging or travel fees may apply for locations greater than 30 miles outside of either Oakland or Los Angeles. Please see the FAQ section for more information about travel pricing.
