Thread dresses

I’m a longtime fan of Thread, who’re mainly known as a bridesmaid dress company. I’m actually a bigger fan of their wedding dresses – they have one of the best collections on the market of simple, elegant, affordable, bridal dresses (a huge amount of them are under $500.)

L to R: Breck, $420; Marilyn, $480; Maeve, $375

I especially adore the one of the far right, which is seersucker (and comes in all white if you’re so inclined) because, well, yes to getting married in seersucker. (this of course, coming from a girl who’s had a friend ask her to “please not get married in jersey.” the jury is still out on how that one will go.)

Um. Fabric friend popping in here to say: there is such thing as silk jersey. And is luxurious and awesome because it is silk, but also super soft and cozy because it is… jersey. So. I think you know what side of this argument I am on.
